The University of New Hampshire Police Department is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA®). We achieved this status in 2007, and in 2020 reached our current level of Advanced Accreditation with Excellence- Fifth Award. As a law enforcement agency, accreditation means that we have created, adopted and follow high standards of policy, training, structure and documentation. These high standards are reflected in the work that we do every day to serve the University of New Hampshire Community.
