The University offers experiences for first-year students prior to the beginning of the fall semester.
These programs allow students to meet other entering students and current students in small groups.
For 2023, we are offering three Early-Arrival Programs
PrOVES
Make new friends, get comfortable on campus, and explore the NH Seacoast through a variety of community service projects.
CONNECT
Focused on helping first-generation, students of color, and students with high-financial need through academic support and social programs.
Trailblazers
UNH Trailblazers is an early arrival program designed to help Wildcats who are first in their family to attend a 4-year university transition smoothly from high school to UNH. Students will get exposure to campus culture, residential life, academic skills, support resources and everything else to be successful at UNH.
